Inner Keys to Success:

  • HAVE A “WINNING” MIND-FRAME AND A HIGH SELF WORTH: “I have a different constitution. I have a different brain; I have a different heart; I got tiger blood, man.” Charlie Sheen did not hope, he knew that he was going to be somebody. He had this definiteness of purpose and was bold in his efforts. Stemming from childhood, he and his brother, along with friends Rob Lowe and Sean Penn, would make amateur films together as a hobby. And he just always believed he was made for it with no counter thoughts or limiting beliefs, it’s easy to tell from his interviews and demeanour. “I've got mad energy for days. That's what people can't get their minds around. They say, 'Oh, he's going to crash.' They try to apply all these common terms to a guy who is not common. I don't fit into their little box.” This perspective of greatness had allowed him to become the highest paid comedy TV stars where he earned about 2 million an episode. And when he was let go, he didn’t feel any less, rather he continued trekking with creating his own tour. I'm tired of pretending I'm not special. I'm tired of pretending that I'm not a total bitchin' rock star from Mars.”
  • LET THE HATERS HATE, FOCUS ON YOUR TRAITS: “You either love or you hate. You live in the middle, you get nothing.” Charlie Sheen has faced scrutiny throughout and has done a pretty good job with what he’s dealt with. In school he was known to be a lackadaisical student who would eventually be expelled a few weeks prior to his diploma for skipping to play baseball. He decided to focus in on his desire to act. Understanding that being different was ok, he has stated I'm tired of ignoring that I march to a different beat.” The tabloids have found it appealing and newsworthy to focus in on his falling outs with drugs and alcohol, one reporter even claimed to make him “the James Dean of this era”.There have to be more important things going on in the world than my past.”  Although it initially irritated him a ton, Charlie has learned to accept the negative attention, embrace who he is and continue to rock on! Had he allowed them to get into his head, he might have given up ages ago, instead he remains 2 steps ahead. He convinces others to stop hating and judging as well, especially after his “Two and a Half Men melt down” saying “You have the right to kill me, but you don't have the right to judge me. That's life. There's nobility in that. There's focus. It's genuine. It's crystal and it's pure and it's available to everybody, so just shut your traps and put down your McDonalds, your vaccines, your Us Weekly, your TMZ and the rest of it.”
  • MODEL THE MASTERS AND HAVE A GOOD SUPPORTING CAST: He had someone to learn from, although his father was an alcoholic, he was a successful actor that Sheen learned from to succeed in the acting industry. The family moved to Malibu for his father’s career and Charlie Sheen began to show an interest in the performing arts at age 9, he was lucky enough to get his first taste of acting playing a small role alongside his father in a television film. This gave Sheen the ability to master and model after someone very close to him to help him accumulate and achieve success in acting. His older brother, Emilio Estevez, was also a role model who was in the vicinity of his dreams and shared the same passion. He had a childhood Oscar winning friend in Sean Penn who mentored him a lot, Charlie Sheen claimed It's educational, watching his stuff. He teaches us about taking risks and about letting go of self, of celebrity, ego and all that crap we hang on to in front of the camera. Sean just says, 'That's not what I'm here for." Charlie Sheen’s made other great relationships to guide him including Slash from Guns N’ Roses who apparently sat Charlie down and told him to clean up his act and goto rehab. “He's a terrific guy and I love him, he's a buddy of mine.”

Charlie Sheen quotes

“I don't think it's wise to dwell on regret. There's regret, sure. But whatever you've done good or bad, is a part of who you are now. That's the thing you can change and improve.”
