On Jimmy Kimmel, rap artist Kanye West told the audience about the power of believing in yourself (selfworth), standing up and protecting your dreams and to never be afraid of failure. As controversial and outspoken as Kanye can be, he usually makes a whole lot of sense and his messages can often be misinterpreted by his overly confident demeanor - which can be due to his strong self worth which people confuse with cocky. Nonetheless, in this video Kanye gets really passionate about aiming high, making an impact on humanity and creating things. He also stands up for the creative individuals who used to get beat up in the back of the classroom, because he was constantly bullied for being different. Kanye is about the truth and he strongly believes that society creates low self esteems and he refuses to play the same game that this world plays.
"This is what I'm here to do, so when I compare myself to Steve Jobs, or Walt Disney, Howard Hughes, David Stern, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Jesus or whoever it is, I'm saying these are my heroes, these are people I look up to, this is the type of impact I want to make on the earth." - Kanye West
