“A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change.” – Earl Nightingale
In almost any field of study, endeavor, enterprise, or occupation, if you take the time to look, you will find stories of individuals who believed so strongly in what they were doing, they were given the title of Pioneer or Captain. Earl Nightingale BELIEVED! He was both a Pioneer and a Captain of Industry in the field of Personal Development!
What is it that makes someone a pioneer in their field, or a captain of their industry? There are many different qualities and actions attributable to those we view as qualified to be considered a leader or change-maker in their chosen field of endeavor.
Invariably though, one of those key qualities will always be a great attitude. The word attitude means different things to each of us. People who understand that change is the one constant in the world, also understand it is their own individual attitude that has the potential to lead them to success, or repel them from it.
Our attitude is a representation of our mental state, or belief, or lack thereof, regarding all that’s possible for us in the world. Our attitude determines whether we think we can, or think we can’t, do or accomplish something remarkable.
Our attitude literally illuminates or hides from us, all that is possible. A great attitude not only turns on the lights, but also harnesses and focuses the energy of our desires like a spotlight shining thousands of feet into the sky… In darkness, we see almost nothing, and yet with the light of our shining attitude, we can literally illuminate each and every obstacle lurking in the shadows waiting to trip us up on our path toward our desired achievement and ultimate success.
Our attitude reveals to us the opportunities we simply could not see that were absent only from our sight, yet were there all along before we made the change of attitude that then allowed us to see not only the hidden, but also, the golden opportunities.
Let your attitude be the light of possibility in your life today! By letting our light shine, we give others the permission to do the same…
