Maria Callas who was better renown as “The God of Opera” was an American born Greek who influenced the planet with her distinct Opera vocals. She faced a ton of failure and rejection throughout the course of her life and overcame huge obstacles. Initially she was rejected from a very prestigious school and her voice failed to impress several times over. She endured war time poverty, was nearly blind, and conquered over much judgement of being overweight and being considered an “ugly duckling” by even her own mother.
Today she is considered “The Bible Of Opera”. Opera News (A massive classical music magazine) wrote about her saying “Nearly thirty years after her death, she’s still the definition of the diva as artist—and still one of classical music’s best-selling vocalists.”
#MoralOfTheStory: On the other side of adversity is the biggest successes of your entire life. Don’t let the fears, rejections, or failures ever get in your way of your true destination.
“I don’t need the money, dear. I work for art.” – Maria Callas
