3 Inspiration Lessons From Wiz Khalifa’s Biography:
Wiz Khalifa Was Confident In Almost Everything He Did:
Wiz Khalifa has always had confidence in everything he’s done. Success breeds more success and Wiz was naturally good at a lot of things growing up which led to him being more and more confident and ultimately him reaching his goals. In school, Wiz Khalifa was considered a well-rounded popular kid. He even got the first half of his name which stood for “wisdom,” because his older friends would call him a “wiz-kid” for being talented in everything he did. He states “The name ‘Wiz’ comes from me being the youngest dude in my age group of people that I hung out with. I was pretty good at anything I tried to do, so they would call me a young wiz.”
Wiz Khalifa Paved His Own Way To Success:
Wiz believes in himself and therefore does what he likes and what he finds intriguing, in fact, most rappers would kill for a record label but he turned down Warner Brother who first offered him a deal because he didn’t see eye to eye with them. This type of attitude makes people want to follow him and not the other way around. He even states that he didn’t want to shy away from the fact that he smokes marijuana, this bold little move boosted his sales in a massive way. The lesson here does not lie in the “pot smoking,” but in the fact that Wiz does what he wants, which makes him a leader and the reason he has such a huge following he calls “Taylor Gang.” “The most daring thing is to be yourself and to do exactly what you want to do at that point in time and not to be worried with what other people are doing or what’s popular.”
Wiz Khalifa Had Fun Along The Way, His Optimistic Lifestyle Allowed Him To Be Detached From The Process:
He knows that having fun is the most important part of life. Wiz always has a smile on his face and always takes life lightly enabling him to handle difficult and tiresome situations that come with being a celebrity. Unlike most rappers, Khalifa doesn’t rap much about his troubles, but rather how “great” life is.
“I always envisioned myself being a rapper and being in the game and having success, but you never know what it feels like or how you’re going to be when you’re there.” – Quote by Wiz Khalifa
Little Known Success Fact:
Wiz Khalifa is a dreamer, the proof lies within his reasoning for creating the hit single “Black and Yellow.” His intention for the song was to actually to create a song in the hopes of it being the theme song for Pittsburgh Steelers, thus the name matches the colors of the football teams’ jerseys. Although his original intention didn’t come true, the song actually rose to #1 on the charts during Super Bowl weekend.
